'Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas' Kicks Off Sunday, November 20th and Features the New ABC Family Original Movie 'Desperately Seeking Santa,' plus, for the First Time on Television, 'The Search for Santa Paws'

A new theater initiative entitled THE PIECE PROJECT will kick off with an exclusive Los Angeles reading of Neil LaBute's REASONS TO BE PRETTY on Monday October 10, 2011 at 8pm.

CoActive Content, Stacey Martino, Founder/Artistic Director, and American Latino Theatre Company, David Llauger-Meiselman, Artistic Director, will present a new co-production of the critically acclaimed play, 'The King of the Desert,' written by Stacey Martino, performed by René Rivera, and helmed by award-winning director, Sal Romeo, all Studio Lifetime Members of The Actors Studio.

Virginia's Tony Award®-winning Signature Theatre has announced the artistic team behind the upcoming world premiere of the musical comedy And the Curtain Rises (formerly known as Wheatley's Folly), which begins performances on Thursday, March 17, 2011. And the Curtain Rises marks the third production presented as part of Signature's groundbreaking American Musical Voices Project, the largest commissioning program for new musicals in the country, following Michael John LaChiusa's Giant in 2009 and Ricky Ian Gordon's Sycamore Trees last year.
