R&H Theatricals/Ghostlight Records Announces Adam Gwon's ORDINARY DAYS 9/21

R&H Theatricals, a division of Rodgers & Hammerstein: An Imagem Company, has acquired the performance rights to Adam Gwon's musical ORDINARY DAYS, and will begin accepting applications for professional productions starting Tuesday, September 21. On the same day, Ghostlight Records will release the Original Cast Album CD of ORDINARY DAYS.

Dramatists Guild Announces Winners Of Their Writer's Intensive

The Dramatists Guild Fund, the Dramatists Guild of America, and Northwestern University announce the selection of Aaron Carter, Philip Chernyak, Blake Hackler, Laura Jacqmin, Margaret Lewis, Rohina Malik, Duane Nelsen, Tamara Roberts, Tanya Saracho and Chris White for the first Dramatists Guild Writer's Intensive supported by the Dramatists Guild Fund and hosted by Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

Single and group tickets now are on sale for the new musical 'Not Wanted on the Voyage,' the latest work by award-winning Broadway writers Neil Bartram and Brian Hill. The production will be presented July 15 through Aug. 8 by the American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University.

CHARLIE BROWN Joins Jenkins, Lippa et al. in Summer Music Theatre Festival, 7/1-8/8

Northwestern University has added a revised version of YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN to their Summer Music Theatre Festival. CHARLIE BROWN will be performed July 1 through August 8. As previously announced a musical tribute to Tony Award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz will be performed with vocalists Capathia Jenkins ('Caroline, Or Change') and Shoshana Bean ('Wicked'), Tony-nominated composer and lyricist Craig Carnelia, Grammy Award-nominated composer and lyricist Andrew Lippa, and Grammy Award-winning Nashville singer and songwriter Lari White.

Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project To Spotlight Stephen Schwartz, 8/7

For the fifth year, the weeklong Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project returns to the Theatre and Interpretation Center (TIC) at Northwestern University to celebrate America's acclaimed and emerging songwriters and singers. Presented by The Johnny Mercer Foundation and the American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University, this year's project will conclude with three special events, including the star-studded, one-night-only concert 'A Celebration of Stephen Schwartz' (Aug. 7), which will honor the Tony Award-nominated composer ('Wicked,' 'Pippen,' 'Godspell') for his mentorship of young songwriters in the tradition of the legendary Johnny Mercer.
