The Richmond Ballet, the acclaimed company under the artistic direction of Stoner Winslett, returns April 6 - 11, 2010 to The Joyce Theater, 175 Eighth Avenue (at 19th Street).

The Hartt School Dance Division presents HARTT DANCES on Friday and Saturday, December 4th and 5th, at 7:30 PM and on Sunday, December 6th, 2008 at 3:00 PM in Millard Auditorium on the University of Hartford campus in West Hartford.

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation has announced that the winners of the 2009 Joe A. Callaway Awards for excellence in the crafts of directing and choreography are director Garry Hynes for The Cripple of Inishmaan and choreographer Martha Clarke for Garden of Earthly Delights.

Directors Garry Hynes and Martha Clarke were the 2009 recipients of the Joe A. Callaway Award, honoring excellence in direction and choreography in non-Broadway productions in New York. Hynes won for his production of THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN and Clarke for choreography of GARDEN OF EARTHLY DELIGHTS. The honors were bestowed earlier this month.

Career Transition For Dancers (Cynthia Fischer, President; Alexander J. Dubé, Executive Director) have announced that Angela Lansbury is the new Honorary Chairwoman. Also Board member, Anka K. Palitz is the Vice President of Fundraising and Judith Anderson is the Vice President of Programs.

New York City Center will present the third annual season of Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company, October 29 - November 1, 2009, featuring two unique programs including U.S. premieres by Artistic Director Christopher Wheeldon and Australian choreographer Tim Harbour, as well as works by Lightfoot León, Alexei Ratmansky and Mr. Wheeldon.
