For UNTITLED FEMINIST SHOW, adventurous playwright/director Young Jean Lee put together a group of the most charismatic performers she could find (a cabaret star, a burlesque star, three dance-world stars, and a downtown theater star) to engage the audience in a celebration of human transformation and fluidity.

Rocco Landesman, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, announced that Joe's Pub at The Public Theater has been approved for a grant to support New York Voices at Joe's Pub, a series celebrating New York City's diversity in performance and culture, presenting collaborations between artists from sound and stage.

Actress/singer/songwriter Alicia Witt sang and performed a set of her original songs with piano and full band at the Public Theater's JOE's PUB on Monday, July 28th at 9:30 PM. Alicia is an award-winning classical pianist. Special guests included Josiah Early, Jeff Fiorello and Lady Rizo of Lady Rizo and the Assettes.
