The Mabel Mercer Foundation has announced the performers for The 21st New York Cabaret Convention. Among the performers for this celebration of cabaret will be Elaine Stritch and Christine Ebersole.

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 7, 8, 9, The Mabel Mercer Foundation comes of age by presenting its 21st annual Cabaret Convention at The Rose Theater, Frederick P. Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Performances begin each evening at 6 o'clock, and more than forty exemplary vocalists and musicians are scheduled to appear in three diverse programs.

Sally Kellerman, the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominated actress and singer who created the infamous role of Major Margaret "Hot Lips" O'Holuihan in Robert Altman's classic film, "M*A*SH," will appear as a vocal soloist on Monday, March 15, 2010 in the American Jazz Institute's Live From Vicky's Supper Club Series presentation of "An Evening With Sally Kellerman" at Vicky's of Santa Fe; 45-100 Club Drive; Indian Wells, CA 92210. Kellerman will be accompanied by the Vicky's of Santa Fe Trio, comprised of Alan Goodman, Leader & Drummer; Lawrence Flahive, Piano; and Jeff Stover, Bass.

Russ Lorenson, crooner Bay Area cabaret favorite, returns to The Rrazz Room in the Hotel Nikko, 222 Mason St., San Francisco, for a late night show, June 6 at 10:30 PM. The show, called After Hours, features special guest Amanda King as well.

The Oakland Opera Theatre presents Duke Ellington's 'Queenie Pie' from May 9th till the 25th.
