Kinky Boots' gross for the week ending July 28, 2013 was $1,612,845.00, the highest for any eight-show week at the Hirschfeld Theatre. Prior to Kinky Boots, the holiday favorite Elf held the Hirschfeld's house record for an 8-performance week, grossing $1,464,912.50 in December 2010.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Kinky Boots, this year's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, has implemented a new lottery ticket policy, following the show's recent record-breaking weeks at the box office. Beginning Tuesday, July 9, a general ticket lottery will replace the previous general rush policy (for which many fans began sleeping outside the theater to be first in line when the box office opened).
