PREMIERES, the New York based music theater organization whose mission is 'to bring new music theater to light,' presents this season's Inner Voices, the biannual series of solo works featuring new teams of playwrights and composers. Performances will begin on Monday, October 3rd at 8:00pm (and continue through October 29) at The TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues). Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director and Melissa Huber, Managing Director, in partnership with producer Alexander Baron, continues its 2016 IGNITE Series at The TimesCenter (242 W 41st Street), with a one-night concert of Vote For Me: A Musical Debate, by Drew Fornarola and Scott Elmegreen, authors of the recent Off-Broadway hit, Straight.  

Birdland Jazz Club has announced its schedule for April 28 - May 4, featuring the Steve Kuhn Trio, Broadway Sings Their Favorites - Celebrating the Tenth Season of Broadway Artists Alliance, David Ostwald's Louis Armstrong Eternity Band, Jim Caruso's Cast Party, and more!

The Alliance Theatre just announced the cast and creative team behind the American premiere of ZORRO, a thrilling new musical. Zorro, 'the fox,' was created in 1919 by the writer Johnston McCulley for his serialized novel 'The Curse of Capistrano,' and went on to be immortalized in print, on film, in television and even video games. Now, the legendary character will appear in a swashbuckling new musical set to the thrilling flamenco sound of The Gipsy Kings.

The performance will take place at New York's Le Poisson Rouge tonight, October 7th.

Tony Award-winning actress Alice Ripley was the special surprise guest at the Broadway Artists Alliance 2011 Winter Workshop. Ripley had a Q&A with the students of Broadway Artists Alliance. She surprised the students with a performance of her new single 'Beautiful Eyes,' and a song from Next to Normal.

Dawn Cantwell will perform at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:30pm. The concert is directed by Travis Griesler, with musical direction by Alexander Rovang.
