IN THE MOOD, A 1940's Musical Revue Comes to Lincoln Theatre

In The Mood, a 1940's musical revue featuring singers, dancers and a 13-piece orchestra, takes the stage at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater for two performances on Sunday, September 9, 2018, with a matinee at 2 pm and evening performance at 7 pm. Complete with the String of Pearls Big Band Orchestra and the In The Mood Singers & Dancers, a nostalgic atmosphere transports the audience back in time - a time when everyone was singing and dancing to the same kind of music.

Broadway Veteran Stephanie Pope To Teach Fosse Master Class At Playhouse On Park

Registration is now open for Broadway Dance: Fosse Adult Master Class at Playhouse on Park. All performers (ages 16 and up!) who have a vested interest in the performing arts are encouraged to attend these classes to learn from the 'pros'. Stephanie Pope, who stars as Camilla in Playhouse on Park's current production of In The Heights, and seasoned Broadway Actor, will instruct this class onMonday, July 9 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Due to high demand, an additional week is now on sale through June 10. Featuring a powerful score by legendary duo Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, and based on Lynn Riggs' 1931 play, Green Grow the Lilacs, Oklahoma! will be directed by Artistic Director and Jeff Award-winner Aaron Thielen (She Loves Me, Spring Awakening). Jeff Award nominee Alex Sanchez (Marriott Theatre: Newsies, Evita, On the Town, Mary Poppins) will choreograph, with Musical Direction and orchestrations by Jeff Award winner Ryan T. Nelson.

1940s Musical Revue IN THE MOOD Returns to Bucks County Playhouse

Audiences are invited to take a sentimental journey when the 1940s musical revue "In The Mood" returns to Bucks County Playhouse for a limited engagement, March 21-25. "In the Mood" is being presented as part of the Playhouse's Visiting Artist Series.
