The Scottish premiere of The Commitments will hit all the right notes as it opens on Monday ahead of its three-week run at Theatre Royal, Glasgow.

Coronation Street legend, Kevin Kennedy, is to star as Jimmy's Da in the UK tour of the critically acclaimed musical The Commitments written by Roddy Doyle, starting in October 2016.

Last month the production had is Irish Premiere in Dublin, where Roddy Doyle's story of The Commitments was born, and is now touring across the UK, currently booking until 13 May 2017.

The new musical drama Soviet Zion will make its debut in London this October. It tells the story of an American family and a Ukrainian family who in 1939 both move to Siberia participating in a movement to create there a socialist Yiddish-speaking utopia. The reality they face is not what they had been led to believe, and great personal sacrifice will have to be made in order for them to achieve the freedom they seek.
