Beginning tonight Tuesday, July 21th, Dee Roscioli assumes the role of Elphaba in the hit musical WICKED. Ms. Roscioli is making her Broadway debut after playing the role of Elphaba for the final two years of the record-breaking Chicago production of WICKED. Dee joins a cast which includes Alli Mauzey as Glinda, Tony Award-winner Rondi Reed as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as The Wizard, Kevin Kern as Fiyero, Alex Brightman as Boq, Cristy Candler as Nessarose, and Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond.

Broadway's Sean Bradford (The Lion King) and Adam Kantor (RENT),in association with The Present Company, will present the world-premiere of A Contemporary American's Guide to a Successful Marriage © 1959 written by Robert Bastron and directed by Adam Fitzgerald at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street, as part of the 2009 New York International Fringe Festival.

On Monday, June 29th, New York Theatre Barn will present NYTB @ The Duplex, the monthly cabaret series that highlights new composers, lyricists, and performers.

The Broadway production of WICKED will perform an additional performance on Sunday, June 28th at 8pm to benefit The Actors Fund. All of the actors' salaries and all of ticket sales will be donated to The Actors Fund benefiting people in film, theater, television, music, opera, and dance.

Tyler Maynard(The Little Mermaid), Alex Brightman(Wicked), and Jay A. Johnson(Hair), are set to appear in the premiere performance of 'Craig Stevens Guide to Making it on Broadway' at the Laurie Beechman Theater on Monday, April 6th at 9:30 pm.

Kevin Kern returns to the Broadway cast of Wicked March 10. He is set to replace Aaron Tveit in the role of Fiyero.

Beginning performances on Friday, January 16, Nicole Parker (from 'MADtv' and Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me) assumed the role of Elphaba Wicked on January 16th and BroadwayWorld.com just got our hands on her first official press photos.

The concert performance of LOVE, NY, the new musical by Robert Rokicki and Michael Ruby, will now play at New World Stages on January 26, 2009 at 8PM. The concert had been set to play at The Zipper Factory until its unexpected closing earlier this week. In addition, Tony Award Nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo (AVENUE Q) will perform and host the event. Also joining the cast is WICKED's current Boq, Alex Brightman. D'Abruzzo and Brightman join Randy Aaron (DAME EDNA: BACK WITH A VENGEANCE, JUNIE B. JONES), Kevin Massey (TARZAN, BIG RIVER), Brynn O'Malley (WICKED, SUNDAY IN THE PARK), Vanessa Ray (THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTRY SPELLING BEE), and Krysta Rodriguez (IN THE HEIGHTS, SPRING AWAKENING).
