The Joyce Theater (Linda Shelton, Executive Director), the United States' foremost dance venue, announced today programming for its 2013-2014 Fall & Winter Season featuring extraordinary companies, both international and local - several making their Joyce debuts - and loaded with highly anticipated premieres, including The Royal Ballet's production of Kafka's The Metamorphosis, choreographed by Arthur Pita especially for Royal Ballet Principal Edward Watson.

Now celebrating its 35th year, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago will be presented by The Joyce Theater Foundation for two weeks this spring, May 14-26. For this return to The Joyce, the dancers of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago will offer two programs featuring choreography by Aszure Barton, Mats Ek and Ohad Naharin, as well as a Joyce-commissioned work by former Hubbard Street dancer Robyn Mineko Williams.

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, under the artistic leadership of Glenn Edgerton, presents
four hometown engagements in its 2013-14 season, all at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance (205 East Randolph Drive, Chicago), plus domestic and international touring dates. Season 36 features the inclusion of works by all five of Hubbard Street's signature, international choreographers - Nacho Duato, Mats Ek, William Forsythe, Ji?i Kylian and Ohad Naharin - a programming coup 16 years in the making.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim has announced its spring 2013 season. Since 1984, the performing-arts series has championed new works and offered audiences unprecedented access to leading creators and performers. Each intimate, 80-minute performance uniquely combines artistic creation and stimulating conversation and takes place in the Guggenheim's Frank Lloyd Wright-designed, 285-seat Peter B. Lewis Theater, where new reserved seating is now offered. A reception for the audience and artists follows most programs. Described by the New York Times as "a popular series devoted to shedding light on the creative process," Works & Process is produced by founder Mary Sharp Cronson.
