Jacob's Pillow presents Trey McIntyre Project (TMP) in an engaging triple-bill program that features the legendary folk music of Peter, Paul and Mary, as well as the world premiere of LADIES AND GENTLE MEN, inspired by Marlo Thomas's iconic children's book, record, and TV show Free to Be…You and Me, August 8-12 at the historic Ted Shawn Theatre. Artistic Director Trey McIntyre, a celebrated dancemaker, "has proven his talent and takes his place as one of the top choreographers of the decade' (Marene Guston, Dance International).

His production of Oliver! became the longest running show ever to play at the London Palladium. Additional stage credits includeTennessee Williams's The Glass Menagerie, Stephen Sondheim's Company (which had the first ever African American 'Bobby'), Alan Bennett's Habeas Corpus and his farewell duo of Chekhov's Uncle Vanya and Twelfth Night, which transferred to the Brooklyn Academy Of Music and Gypsy on Broadway starring Bernadette Peters.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aline Brosh McKenna has been chosen to rewrite Columbia Pictures upcoming film adaptation of ANNIE. A previous script of the remake had been penned by Emma Thompson.

John Tiffany and Alan Cumming (who made his stage debut as Malcolm in Macbeth in 1985) originally worked together on The National Theatre of Scotland's production of Euripides' The Bacchae which took the Edinburgh International Festival by storm in 2007 and subsequently toured in 2008 to Aberdeen, Inverness and Lincoln Center Festival.
