Geneva Carr: 'I haven't crested the best part of my career.'

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Sunday Symposium on Playwright Alan Ayckbourn, following the Sunday, August 24, 3 p.m. matinee performance of Ayckbourn's romantic comedy, 'Things We Do for Love,' with guests Tony Award nominee John Tillinger, director, and Geneva Carr, cast member.

Hedgerow Theatre will present Communicating Doors by Alan Ayckbourn from September 4 to October 5, running Thursdays-Sundays with a mid-week matinee on Wednesday, September 17th at 2 pm.

Westport Country Playhouse will stage Alan Ayckbourn's romantic comedy, "Things We Do for Love," Tuesday, August 19 through Sunday, September 7, directed by Tony Award nominee John Tillinger, a veteran director of many Ayckbourn plays on Broadway and at the Playhouse.

Playwright A. R. ("Pete") Gurney, who has had 14 of his plays staged at Westport Country Playhouse, will be celebrated at the Playhouse's annual fundraiser, "A Perfect Party: A Gala Evening Honoring A. R. Gurney," on the evening of Monday, September 22. Westport's Arthur Levitt, a valued trustee and longtime supporter of the Playhouse, will also be honored with the Playhouse Leadership Award.
