Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) announces 'Galavant In The Garden,' a spring garden party benefiting the theater on May 9, featuring a special preview performance of Tony Award-winning actor Alan Cumming's new one-man show at Dark Hollow Farm, a private Bucks County gentleman's estate.

Alan Alda, an acclaimed actor, writer and director who has a passion for science and technology, will be the keynote speaker at Carnegie Mellon University's 118(th) Commencement at 11 a.m., Sunday, May 17 in Gesling Stadium on the Pittsburgh campus. Alda, who exemplifies Carnegie Mellon's interdisciplinary strengths in the arts and sciences, also will receive an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced the first two productions of its 2015-2016 season: DADA WOOF PAPA HOT, a new play by Peter Parnell, to be directed by Scott Ellis, beginning performances Thursday, October 15 and opening Monday, November 9 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater; and the LCT3 world premiere production of KILL FLOOR, a new play by Abe Koogler, to be directed by Lila Neugebauer, which will begin performances Saturday, October 3, open on Monday, October 19, and run through Sunday, November 15 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

On April 21, 2015, Improv Wars will finish the 2014/2015 season with Improv Wars: The Spring Invasion featuring Columbus' finest improv groups competing for audience laughs. This is the finale ?of a successful season of the “One Night Stand”, “The Fall Attack”, “The Holiday Showcase”, and “The Blizzard Blitz”.
