ABC Family premiered the first promo for its new scripted series, cancer drama CHASING LIFE, during last night's Pretty Little Liars season finale.

Steven Weber (The Philanthropist, The Producers) will be featured on the show in a recurring role.

Production began today for the ABC Family original series CHASING LIFE, the new one-hour drama that follows April (Italia Ricci), a smart, twenty-something, aspiring journalist whose romantic and professional life is just starting to take off when she receives news that she has cancer.

ABC Family has added another new one-hour drama series, CHASING LIFE (formerly "Terminales"), to its roster of millennial-skewing original programming. The series is scheduled to start production in Santa Clarita in July and will premiere on ABC Family in early 2014.

Production begins today on the ABC Family drama series pilot TERMINALES, starring Italia Ricci (UNNATURAL HISTORY), Mary Page Keller (NYPD BLUE), Vondie Curtis-Hall (ER), Aisha Dee (I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER), Richard Brancatisano (THE ELEPHANT PRINCESS), Abhi Sinha (THE SOCIAL NETWORK), Haley Ramm (RED STATE) and guest stars Barry Watson (7TH HEAVEN) and Rebecca Schull (WINGS).

FOX's I Hate My Teenage Daughter, starring Katie Finneran, has been canceled, Entertainment Weekly reports. The comedy will play its final episode of the season on Tuesday, April 3. A recent episode of the show only garnered 3.6 million viewers and a 1.4 rating among adults aged 18-49. FOX may air the remaining episodes over the summer.

On an upcoming episode of Fox's new comedy series I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER entitled 'Teenage Cheerleading', Nikki (Katie Finneran), Mackenzie (Aisha Dee) and Sophie (Kristi Lauren) ask Annie (Jaime Pressly) for permission to join the cheerleading team.
