Cabrillo Music Theatre is thrilled to present the Off-Broadway and Los Angeles smash-hit musical, THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES.

New York native and stage and screen star, Brooke Shields, made her solo cabaret debut on Tuesday, February 1 at Feinstein's at Loews Regency. Under the direction of Mark Waldrop, Ms. Shields presents In My Life, an intimate look into the life of the actress, from her early days as the 'Ivory Soap baby' to now. She shares stories from her incredible journey in show business in an evening that features some of her favorite pop songs, those from previous Broadway appearances, and selections from the upcoming Broadway musicals, Leap of Faith and Ever After.

Tickets go on sale this Sunday, January 30 at 10 a.m., for the scathingly funny, Tony Award-winning Best Play "God of Carnage."

The critically-acclaimed (LA Weekly GO!, Backstage CRITIC'S PICK) second show in Celebration Theatre's 2010-2011 Season of Shows, the Tony Award-winning play, TAKE ME OUT, will close on January 30. The play is written by Richard Greenberg and directed by Michael Matthews and produced for Celebration Theatre by Nicholas Caprio, Michael C. Kricfalusi, Todd Milliner and Christopher Sepulveda.

The performers have been set for the North American premiere of 'The Author' by Tim Crouch. The play, co-directed by Karl James and a smith, is presented by Center Theatre Group at the Kirk Douglas Theatre as part of DouglasPlus programming. 'The Author' runs for 13 performances only, February 15 - 27, 2011. Opening is set for February 17.

ohn Lithgow's 'Stories by Heart,' a special one-man theatrical memoir at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum, opened January 5, and continues through February 13, 2011.

Now in its new home at the Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton, first up for 3D Theatricals is a production of the hit musical THE DROWSY CHAPERONE--with shows running February 11 through the 27th--featuring TV legend Sally Struthers (All In The Family, Gilmore Girls) in the role of Mrs. Tottendale. Fresh off her win as Best Featured Actress in a Musical at the 2011 LA Stage Ovation Awards (for her role as the Fairy Godmother in 'Cinderella'), Struthers will also star in 3D Theatricals' upcoming 'Always, Patsy Cline' later this season.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle has announced its nominations and special awards for excellence in Los Angeles and Orange County theatre for the year 2010 (Dec. 1, 2009 - Nov. 30, 2010).
