FUNNY GIRL, which was recently announced to return to Broadway in April 2012 following an engagement at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, has been postponed.

Bring It On: The Musical, the explosive new musical comedy that raises the stakes on over-the-top high school rivalries, just opened at Los Angeles' Center Theatre Group on October 30. Set against the world of competitive cheerleading, this powerhouse new show hilariously proves that winning isn't everything when it means losing something - or someone - you really care about. Rehearsals begin this week for 'The Night Watcher,' Charlayne Woodard's newest play, which will be produced at the Center Theatre Group/Kirk Douglas Theatre, November 17 through December 18, 2011. The opening is set for November 20. 'The Night Watcher,' written and performed by Woodard, will be directed by her frequent collaborator, Daniel Sullivan.

Hollywood's newest holiday tradition, The Blank Theatre's production of 'The Santaland Diaries' by David Sedaris, this year will star Paolo Andino and once again be directed by Michael Matthews. 'Santaland' begins preview performances on Saturday, November 19, and opening night is set for Saturday, November 26 at 8:00 at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood.

Center Theatre Group begins its 2011-2012 season at the Ahmanson Theatre on a high-octane energy note with the West Coast premiere of 'Bring It On: The Musical,' an original musical comedy presented October 30 through December 10, 2011. (Opening is set for November 11.) A celebration kicking off the national tour of 'Bring It On: The Musical' featuring performances by the cast, routines by local cheer and dance squads, dance/cheer lessons, audience competitions, a live DJ, local TV and radio personalities, ticket giveaways and a traveling pep rally down CityWalk, and Tony winner and musical creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, on October 22.

Take it from the Top Productions and Broadway Dreams will present a Broadway Master Class workshop on Saturday, November 5, at Los Angeles Theatre Center. The four-hour workshop, which is set to run from 10am - 2pm, will be taught by Broadway veterans Paul Canaan and Tyler Hanes.

The company will present 'Song of the Earth,' choreographed by Sir Kenneth MacMillan with music by Gustav Mahler, and a North American première choreographed by Jorma Elo, with music by Mozart and Steve Reich. Scottish Ballet is under the current artistic direction of former Royal Ballet dancer and choreographer Ashley Page, who was in 2006 awarded an OBE in the Queen's birthday honors list for his service to dance.
