Aquila Theatre Company Presents Twelth Night, June 17-Aug 21

The Aquila Theatre Company will stage a new version of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night to run for a limited engagement from June 17th to August 21st

Dress as Jesus for Free Admission to "A Very Naughty Greek Play"

In response to Christian conservative leader Bob Jones III (who last year described Aquila's work as 'not acceptable fare for Christian People'), the inventive Aquila Theatre Company is inviting audience members for the World Premiere of A Very Naughty Greek Play, February 25 - March 20, at BPAC (Baruch Performing Arts Center), to dress as 'Jesus' - those who do will receive free admission to the new musical comedy.

ont size="2">"This is about the end of the world.", casually remarks the Greek God Prometheus early on in Aaron Michael Zook's We Are Burning. "No last minute reprieve." The rebel who defied Zeus by bringing the knowledge of fire to mankind, now hangs out in a neighborhood coffee bar, serving up the occasional cappuccino to locals. Inspired by both Aeschylus's play Prometheus Bound and the author's experiences during the 1998 Florida wildfires, We Are Burning puts us in a city slowly being consumed by fire.
