Huntington Theatre Company announces that Malcolm-Jamal Warner, best known for his breakout role as Theo Huxtable, Bill Cosby's son on "The Cosby Show," will play Dr. John Prentice in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner in the Huntington's season opener September 5 - October 5, 2014 at the BU Theatre / Avenue of the Arts. Last night, (Wednesday, April 16) Academy Award-winner Adrien Brody stopped in for an intimate dinner with friends at Social House inside The Shops at Crystals. The highly-acclaimed actor, best known for his role in "The Pianist," arrived with his group just after 8:00 p.m. and took a seat in the main dining room. Brody and his party indulged in a number of specialty items such as the Citrus peel miso cod, Tempura lobster sushi roll and Social House's iconic Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi, which features a flavorsome combination of Calamansi soy sauce and garnish of cilantro.

The Old Globe today announced two of the stars of Shakespeare's classic tragedy Othello, the first show of the Globe's 2014 Summer Shakespeare Festival. Making their Globe debuts are Emmy Award-winner Richard Thomas ('The Americans,' 'The Waltons') as Iago and Kristen Connolly ('House of Cards,' The Cabin in the Woods) as Desdemona. Both artists continue collaborations with Old Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein that began in New York: Thomas starred in Edelstein's critically acclaimed production of Timon of Athens at The Public Theater in 2011, and Connolly in three Shakespeare plays that Edelstein helped produce at The Public. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.
