American Heartland Theatre in Crown Center has announced its 2011-2012 Season, celebrating the theatre's 25th season of productions. Jon Gailmor, well-known Vermont singer-songwriter, will join Aurora School to celebrate its fifteenth anniversary at Middlebury's Town Hall Theater on Sunday, March 27. A lavish dessert buffet and great live music will highlight the Gala, which runs from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Gailmor will headline the event, performing his own family-friendly songs, as well as joining the Hinesburg-based a capella group In Accord. Rounding out the musical offerings will be the popular Vergennes band, Little City Jazz.
The public is cordially invited. Tickets for the event are $15 adult, $5 kids K-8th grade, $35 family. A local restaurant raffle and silent auction of goods and services donated by local businesses, along with ticket sales, will benefit the Aurora Scholarship Fund.

Signal Ensemble Theatre announces the fourth production in their 2010-2011, eighth anniversary season, the world premiere comedy "Aces," written by ensemble member and multiple Jeff award-winner Jon Steinhagen, and directed by Ronan Marra.
According to TVGuide.com, Benjamin Bratt will join the cast of ABC's medical drama 'Private Practice' as a series regular. The season four finale will mark his first appearance.
