Mazeppa Productions Stages XANADU, Now thru 7/26

Lace up your skates and join Mazeppa this summer at Xanadu, the hit musical comedy about believing in magic and following your dreams. Xanadu's opening on July 10, 2014, will mark the official start of Mazeppa's fourth season of musical theatre and its third season at Christ Church Neighborhood House. Xanadu runs today, July 9-26, 2014, at Christ Church Neighborhood House, located at 20 North American Street (off 2nd Street between Market and Arch Streets) in the Old City section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

11th Hour Theatre Company presents its only mainstage production of the season, the hilarious, boy-band "holy hit" musical Altar Boyz running May 15-June 1, 2014 at The Arts Bank at the University of the Arts. With a book by Kevin Del Aguila and music and lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker, Altar Boyz is directed by Megan Nicole O'Brien with an ensemble cast of Robert Hager, Adam Hoyak, Billy Kametz, Michael Linden, and Nicholas Park.

11th Hour Theatre Company to Host HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA, 12/8

11th Hour Theatre Company presents its inaugural holiday program HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA for one night only on December 8 from 7:00-10:00 PM in the Caplan Recital Hall at the University of the Arts (211 South Broad Street). Featured performers are 11th Hour Supergroup including Cara Antosca. Kat Borelli, Rachel Camp, Melissa Joy Hart, Marissa Hines, Alex Keiper, Dan Kiernan, Craig O'Brien, Michael Philip O'Brien, Steve Pacek, Samantha Joy Pearlman, and Sigmund Washington. Also performing will be members of the cast from 11th Hour's Spring Mainstage production of Altar Boyz: Brendan Dalton, Kevin, Duffin, Adam Hoyak and Billy Kametz, as well as a special Philly Star Face-Off between Jeff Coon, Mary Martello and Jennie Eisenhower, and solo performances by Corey Regensberg and Danielle Lovier's group Olive Juice.

11th Hour Theatre Company to Kick Off ZANNA, DON'T! October 5-7

11th Hour Theatre Company kicks off its Next Step Concert Series with the quirkily charming musical Zanna, Don't! on October 5-7 at the Caplan Studio Theatre at the University of the Arts (211 South Broad Street). Directed by 11th Hour's Associate Artistic Director Steve Pacek, the production features an ensemble cast of 11th Hour favorites including Laura Catlaw, Marissa K. Hines, Adam Hoyak, Joe O'Brien, Nick Park, and Candace Thomas, and introduces the 11th Hour debuts of Michael Linden and Bren Thomas.

Tony Award Nominee Forrest McClendon Stars in Arts Bank Theater's BIG RIVER

Students from the Ira Brind School of Theater Arts at The University of the Arts will share the stage with special guest star Forrest McClendon - a 2011 Tony ® Award nominee and Barrymore Award winner - in a concert performance of Big River. This production will be on stage for one weekend only with three performances from February 23-25, 2012 at the University's Arts Bank Theater. Big River is adapted from Mark Twain's classic novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, with music and lyrics by Roger Williams and book by William Hauptman.
