Delaware Theatre Company celebrates 40 years of theatre making and announces their 2018/2019 season, including a Broadway-bound musical and two premieres.
Bristol Riverside Theatre ends its mainstage season triumphantly with the farcical period-piece musical Triumph of Love, based on the play by Marivaux, with book by James Magruder, music by Jeffrey Stock, and lyrics by Susan Birkenhead on May 1-20. Directed by Keith Baker, music directed by Douglass Lutz, and choreographed by Stephen Casey, the ensemble cast features Jake Delaney, Joy Franz, Adam Hoyak, Alex Keiper, Rebecca Robbins, Danny Rutigliano, and Carl Wallnau.
The hilarious grown-up's prequel to Peter Pan follows a young boy, a captains daughter, the original lost boys, Captain Hook before the hook, and a cast full of all-star entertainers.
This evening, in a celebration attended by approximately 900 theatre artists, staff, critics, and friends, Theatre Philadelphia distributed 27 awards at the 2016 Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre, including the first-ever Victory Foundation Award for Outstanding Theatre Education Program.

The Tony Award-winning musical with book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty, and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens is directed by Keith Baker and features Leslie Becker, Derrick Cobey, David Edwards, Tamar Greene, Michael Thomas Holmes, Matt Leisy and Ciji Prosser.
