DANCENOW presents the 2014 DANCENOW Joe's Pub Festival. Featuring works by forty choreographers and their companies, the 2014 festival will be held over four evenings from today, September 3 to 6, with an encore performance on September 13. The exciting lineup of artists features many fan favorites, including festival veterans and returning artists, alongside rising stars and festival newcomers. 2014 marks the 19th annual season of the DANCENOW Festival.

Celebrating a milestone 25th Anniversary Season, River North Dance Chicago (RNDC) forges into the fall with "Silver: 25th Anniversary Fall Engagement," October 8 - 11, 2014 at the Harris Theater (205 E. Randolph Dr.). Led by Artistic Director Frank Chaves, who "with his spot-on musicality and straight-up embrace of emotion, has set a strong course for River North Dance Chicago" ("Chicago Tribune"), the company celebrates the past while defining the future as they introduce the U.S. premiere of "Flesh" by hot Spanish choreographer Ivan Perez and the world premiere of Chaves's own work "In the End," while reviving a company staple, Sherry Zunker's "Reality of a Dreamer." Co-Artistic Directors David Finckel and Wu Han - Musical America's 2012 'Musicians of the Year' - present the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center on December 18, 2013, part of the Harris Theater Presents series and one of the highlights of the Theater's November/December performance calendar. Additional performances include the premiere of Generations, the first of a five-year project from Deeply Rooted Dance Theater on November 1, 2013, the premiere of Pipassa - The Seventh Love from Natya Dance Theatre, the return of Alejandro Cerrudo and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's evening-length One Thousand Pieces, and the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance celebrating the 15th anniversary of its annual Cuatro Festival. Ailey II embarks on a 31-city world tour from September 17th through March 28th with 24 domestic cities including Kansas City, MO; Baton Rouge, LA; Columbia, SC; Memphis, TN; and Birmingham, AL. The international portion of Ailey II's tour takes the dancers to Poland, Germany, Luxembourg, France, and Canada (full schedule on page two).
