Tonight is the night, FOX's first live musical telecast!  The buzz about GREASE: LIVE couldn't be bigger, with a star-studded cast lead by Aaron Tveit and Julianne Hough and direction from HAMILTON director, Thomas Kail, and  DANCING WITH THE STARS vet, Alex Rudzinski. There's no doubt “Grease” will be the word of the nation tonight, as millions of people worldwide tune into FOX for the legendary GREASE: LIVE musical broadcast.  As previous broadcasts have shown us, everyone loves to live-tweet the big show, and Broadway's best and brightest are certainly no exception! (In most cases, perhaps, they're even more likely to tweet!) 

With just less than two hours before the big show, get a behind-the-scenes look at the final rehearsal moments with Aaron Tveit, Julianne Hough, Vanessa Hudgens, Keke Palmer, Carly Rae Jepsen, and the cast of GREASE: LIVE as they finish up their preparation.

Like all theatre fans, we here at BroadwayWorld are excited to the max for Fox's broadcast of GREASE: LIVE tonight. Following in the footsteps of NBC's THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE!, PETER PAN LIVE!, and THE WIZ LIVE!, Marc Platt and Thomas Kail have filled their cast with stars of both stage and screen. While not every T-Bird, Pink Lady, and denizen of Rydell High has Broadway credits on their resume, nearly all of them have some sort of theatrical related experience under their belts.

What do you think of when someone says 'Grease'? The movie? The most recent revival? The original Chicago production? Whichever one, chances are hand-jives, summer lovin' and Sandy's iconic 'bad girl' outfit are a few things that come to mind. Grease and it's beloved Pink Ladies and T-Birds (or Burger Palace Boys, as they were originally called!) have had a long journey from Chicago to Fox's upcoming production of Grease: Live, that will air tonight, Sunday, January 31st!

GREASE is the word, because later tonight (8pm EST) FOX will transport us back to Rydell High with its highly anticipated GREASE: LIVE. There's just hours left to break out your poodle skirt and leather jacket for the broadcast, and we want you to be prepared for all things GREASE before Jessie J sings her opening notes.

With just over 24 hours before the big day, take a trip onto the soundstage with Aaron Tveit, Julianne Hough, Vanessa Hudgens, Keke Palmer, Carly Rae Jepsen, and the cast of GREASE as they finish up their preparation.

Today, Saturday, January 30th, Schimmel Center at Pace University hosts SING-A-LONG-A GREASE after a wildly successful run in the fall of 2014. Audiences can sing along to the great movie musical, complete with on-screen lyrics and the chance to become a T-Bird or Pink Lady for the night and enter the costume competition.

Broadway's original Sandy and Danny were brought back together thirteen years after their 1972 opening.
