IN THE HEIGHTS Welcomes Bianca Marroquin as 'Daniela' 6/12 - 9/15

Kevin McCollum, Jeffrey Seller and Jill Furman Willis, the producers of the 2008 Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical In The Heights, announced today that Bianca Marroquin will take over the role of 'Daniela' for 9 weeks only from Saturday, June 12, through Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street). In The Heights currently stars Corbin Bleu (through August 17), and beginning August 19 will star American Idol winner Jordin Sparks.

STAGE TUBE: FENCES Star Denzel Washington Visits Good Morning America

Two-time Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington, nominated for a Tony Award this season for his performance opposite Academy Award nominee and Tony Award winner Viola Davis in August Wilson's FENCES, was featured this morning on ABC's 'Good Morning America.'

Pantages Theatre Presents A CHORUS LINE 6/1-13

The new production of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical A CHORUS LINE will return to Los Angeles at the Pantages Theatre for a strictly-limited two week engagement, June 1-13, 2010.

LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL To Debut at NJPAC 6/1-6

THE FIRST NATIONAL TOUR OF LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL will begin performances at The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark, NJ on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 and will play through Sunday, June 6, 2010.

Burkhardt to Succeed Swenson as 'Berger' in London's HAIR, 5/31

Steel Burkhardt, original cast member of the current Broadway and London revival of HAIR, will succeed Will Swenson as Berger on May 31 at London's Gielgud Theatre. As previously announced, Tony Award-nominee Will Swenson is departing to lead the cast of the pre-Broadway North American company of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT: THE MUSICAL, written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott and directed by Simon Phillips. PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT: THE MUSICAL will open on Broadway in Spring 2011 at a theater to be announced.

HAIR to Bow Early in London Sept. 4

The Tony Award-winning revival of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical will bow early in the West End on September 4, 2010, producers have revealed. While the production was scheduled to run through January 2011, the producers have reportedly decided not to recast the show after the current cast's contracts are up on September 4. The production opened at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End April 14th, 2010.

IN THE HEIGHTS Comes to Orange County Performing Arts Center 8/3-15

IN THE HEIGHTS, winner of four 2008 Tony Awards and the 2008 Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album, is coming to the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa from August 3 - 15, 2010. Note: In The Heights will play the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles June 22 - July 25, 2010 prior to the Center's engagement.

L.A. Premiere of IN THE HEIGHTS Extended Two Weeks Thru 7/28

Broadway/L.A. is proud to announce that, due to popular demand, they are extending the Pantages Theatre engagement of IN THE HEIGHTS by two weeks. The show, which won four 2008 Tony Awards including Best Musical as well as the 2008 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Show Album, will now play through Sunday, July 25th.

Producers of the Tony Award-winning musical HAIR announced today that the show has captured its Times Square billboard and repurposed it to create a limited edition tote bag, rather than discarding the large advertisement, made of vinyl. In addition Corbin Bleu has added a final 3 additional weeks to his critically acclaimed run in In The Heights.
