Full casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams. Tickets for the Miami premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will go on sale to Arsht Center members on August 15 and to the general public on August 22, as announced by the Arsht Center and Broadway Across America.

The award-winning regional theatre unveiled the brand new Hurst Theatre in Rio Grande Park on June 24th with two musicals and a comedy. The theatre's 28th season of summer repertory features the regional premiere of Becky's New Car, by native Coloradan Steven Dietz, starring Emmy- and Tony-nominee Sandy Duncan. Opening July 7th is the beloved musical Annie, by Thomas Meehan (book), Charles Strouse (music) and Martin Charnin (lyrics), and the new musical Vices: A Love Story, (story by Michael Heitzman & Ilene Reid, and music and lyrics by Susan Draus, Everett Bradley, Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid). Stage and screen star Brooke Shields will extend her run as Morticia in the hit musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY for an additional two months through Saturday, December 31 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). Shields had originally planned to end her limited engagement on Sunday, October 30. 'I am having the time of my life playing Morticia with this wonderful company of actors.
