Randy James' all male dance company, 10 Hairy Legs, will perform Just Suits at Crossroads Theatre, 7 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick on August 24 at 5:00 pm as part of Hub City Sound's 2013 month long festival of music and dance. Admission is free.

New York City Center is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Fall for Dance Festival with a very special season, beginning with two free evenings of dance at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, hosted by The Public Theater, on September 16 and 17 (rain date, September 18). The Festival will continue at City Center from September 25 - October 5 with performances by 20 acclaimed dance companies and artists from around the world, including three new works from today's most exciting young choreographers, commissioned by New York City Center in celebration of the tenth anniversary.

INTERMEZZO Dance Company, a new ballet company founded by American Ballet Theatre soloist Craig Salstein, announces its debut performance season. Performances will take place from October 18-20, 2013 at 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center, 1395 Lexington Avenue (between 91st and 92nd Streets), NYC. In addition, Intermezzo will show excerpts of new works and participate in a Q&A as part of 92Y's informal Fridays at Noon program on the 18th ($5).

Juilliard Dance, under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes, opens its 2013-2014 season with New Dances PLUS: Edition 2013, Wednesday, December 11 through Sunday, December 15, 2013 in Juilliard's Peter Jay Sharp Theater and features Juilliard alumna Pina Bausch's Wind von West (Wind from the West) performed by the Senior Class, plus three world premiere commissions created for each of the classes of Juilliard's Dance Division. Next season's innovative choreographers are Juilliard alumnus Takehiro Ueyama (1st Year Dancers); Brian Brooks (2nd Year Dancers); and Juilliard alumnus Darrell Grand Moultrie (3rd Year Dancers).

92nd Street Y has announced that Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, continues his popular interview series, "Broadway Talks with Jordan Roth," with award winning stage and screen star Cherry Jones on Sunday, October 27 at 7:30 p.m. Ms. Jones, the Emmy and Tony Award-winning star of "24" and Doubt, will return to the Broadway stage this season as Amanda Wingfield in Tennessee Williams's The Glass Menagerie.

The Bessies, NYC's premiere dance awards honoring outstanding creative work in the field, announces Joanna Kotze as the recipient of the 2013 New York Dance and Performance Award for Outstanding Emerging Choreographer. Beth Gill, 2011 Outstanding Emerging Choreographer, presented the award during the 2012-2013 Bessie Award nominee press conference held at Gibney Dance Center. Fresh off the heels with rave reviews for his conducting debut with the Pasadena POPS, Michael Feinstein returns to lead the orchestra in a performance celebrating the legendary films of MGM. Michael Feinstein's MGM Movie Classics tonight, July 13 features rare and stunning arrangements from the golden age of the silver screen, and the orchestra will be joined by guest vocalists Ron Raines, Christine Ebersole, the cast of Hollywood Revisited, and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy Tap Ensemble.

According to Showbiz411.com, Clive Davis announced during a reading for his book at the 92nd Street Y last night that his top pick Bartlett Sher has signed on to direct the 2014 Broadway revival of MY FAIR LADY. Sher's recent credits include South Pacific, Golden Boy, and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

The Sherman Chamber Ensemble has announced that the international piano virtuoso Benjamin Hochman will be the guest artist for the opening concerts of its 2013 Summer Concert Series on July 12th at St. Andrew's Church in Kent and July 13th at the Lake Mauweehoo Club in Sherman. Hochman will join Ensemble regulars Jill levy (violin), Susan Rotholz (flute) and Eliot Bailen (cello) for a program including Haydn's Piano Trio in E Major, Sonata in A Major for flute and piano by Cesar Franck and the Shostakovich Piano Trio No. 2 in E Minor.

Continuing its Transmusica series of concerts of cross-cultural and transformative music designed to build bridges to other world cultures and communities, the Young People's Chorus of New York City and its artistic director/founder Francisco J. Nuñez will be joined by the Young Voices of Melbourne (Australia) at the 92nd Street Y this afternoon, June 30, at 4 p.m., the first stop on the Australian choir's six-city tour of America. Prospect Theater Company will offer a $20 ticket lottery for their upcoming Off-Broadway production of UNLOCK'D. Performances began June 16, 2013 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project.
