Stan Johnson (1907-1995), the legendary Art Director and fine artist, will be honored by the Art Directors Guild Gallery 800 (ADG, IATSE Local 800) in a special exhibit entitled "Let Shape Color Form: A Tribute to Stan Johnson."

Louise Redknapp will re-join the cast of 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL in the role of 'Violet Newstead' at the Savoy Theatre, London from 25 March until 29 June 2019. 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL opened in the West End last month, where Dolly Parton attended the premiere and joined the cast on stage at the finale. The Hollywood Reporter says Stan and Ollie producer Fable Pictures has secured the rights to the life story of British sisters turned 1980s showbiz superstars Joan and Jackie Collins, which it will adapt into a six part series called Joan and Jackie.

Live Downtown on Saturday night, February 16, 2019.  Winners in the Feature Motion Pictures categories include A Star is Born, Vice,Crazy Rich Asians and Mary Queen of Scots. Television winners included The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, American Horror Story: Apocalypse, Westworld and Dancing with the Stars. For the categories of Motion Picture Made for Television, winners include King Lear, Cocaine Godmother and Jesus Christ Superstar: Live and in Concert. 

The Cinema Audio Society Award for Outstanding Sound Mixing Motion Picture - Live Action was presented to the sound mixing team from “Bohemian Rhapsody” of John Casali, Paul Massey, Tim Cavagin, Niv Adiri, CAS, Mike Tehrani, Glen Gathard, Jemma Riley Tolch.

On March 4, 2019 Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award-winner Audra McDonald will receive the 2019 Stephen Sondheim Award, to be presented at a black-tie Gala Benefit at the Embassy of Italy. The award, established in 2009 in honor of America's most influential musical theater writer and composer, benefits Signature's artistic, education and community programs. Broadway stars Cynthia Erivo and Heidi Blickenstaff will perform in Audra's honor along with Washington's own Tracy Lynn Olivera and Nova Y. Payton.
