Adam Lambert is now a household name thanks to his exposure on 'American Idol', the singing sensation has hit New York City and the Season 8 runner-up will be making the media rounds all this week. Lambert taped a performance of 'Mad World' this morning for the CBS Early Show, the segment will air on Thursday, May 28th. Lambert was a true stand out this season, the young Los Angeles based singer usually had the audience in the palm of his hand with one swooning performance after another.
