TDF, the not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts, has just announced that celebrated costume designer ANN HOULD-WARD and legendary scenic designer RICHARD HUDSON are among the 2024 TDF/Irene Sharaff Award recipients.

Legendary ballet costume designer HOLLY HYNES and costume and scenic designer ZACK BROWN are among the 2018 TDF/Irene Sharaff Award recipients which were just announced by TDF, the not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts. Ms. Hynes was selected to receive the 2018 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design and Mr. Brown will receive the Robert L. B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. The awards are presented through TDF's Costume Collection. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 20, at 6:30pm, at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street).

Following on from a successful opening season at the Sydney Opera House season in September 2016 and Brisbane and Melbourne seasons earlier this year, MY FAIR LADY returns to Sydney with a much better, more comfortable and 'lived in' performance.

Due to continued and extraordinary demand, on Monday June 26 new tickets will be released for the Sydney return season of My Fair Lady.  Directed by Julie Andrews the show will commence at the Capitol Theatre on Thursday August 24 for a strictly limited season.

Six-time Tony Award-winning costume designer CATHERINE ZUBER and legendary scenic designer TONY STRAIGES are among the 2017 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients which were just announced by Theatre Development Fund (TDF), a not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts.

New tickets are set to be released on Monday 13 February for the Brisbane season of Lerner & Loewe's My Fair Lady.  Directed by stage and screen legend Julie Andrews the show will play from March 14 at QPAC's Lyric Theatre and would make the perfect Valentine gift.  My Fair Lady received rave reviews for the premiere season at the Joan Sutherland Theatre where it smashed box office records for selling more tickets than any other production in the history of the Sydney Opera House!

Under the iconic sails of the Sydney Opera House, MY FAIR LADY pairs recreations of the original vision with Direction from the original Eliza Doolittle, Dame Julie Andrews, the remaining living link to Moss Hart's (1956 Director) original production.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 8 at 6:30pm at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Mr. Brown was selected to receive the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Tony Award-winning scenic designer Robin Wagner will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. Sadly, Mr. Brown passed away in January of 2011. His award will be accepted by his long-time colleague and friend, Albert Wolsky, who was the recipient of the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award
