Cassie McIvor BIO

Cassie McIvor is a professional entertainer from Melbourne, Australia.

In 2007, Cassie graduated from The Ballarat Arts Academy with a Bachelor of Arts, Music Theatre Degree. Her credits there included Godspell, Anything Goes, BatBoy(Guild Award Nomination), West Side Story, Kiss Me Kate & A Thousand Feet an original Cabaret performed during the Comedy Festival in Melbourne.
Immediately after completing University she moved overseas to work for Universal Studios in Japan as Elphaba in Wicked. 
During her 2 years at Universal she played and voiced multiple roles including The Bride of Frankenstein, Medusa, Deceive in Naruto, Dorothy, Princess Fiona and Hello Kitty in both singing in both English and Japanese. She also originated the female role in the Gift Of Angels Christmas Show (IAAPA Winner) and sang in the New Years Countdown shows to crowds of upwards of 80 thousand people.
Upon leaving Japan, Cassie headed to North America traveling to LA, Toronto and finally New York singing live and recording.
 Whilst in NYC she met up with Composer Scott Alan and recorded the song I’m Not Quite Ready Yet To Grieve for his third album ‘What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up’ available on iTunes. Cassie has performed with the composer across the world as a guest artist in his concerts on the West End and New York Jazz clubs including Birdland.
Cassie then made the move to London where she was honoured to sing behind World and Olympic Ice Skating Champions in Sochi Ice Symphony in Kensington Gardens for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Traveling between London and Barcelona, Cassie balanced live gigs with recordings for European House DJ’s the Takers.
Cassie was then cast in Franco Dragone's (AD of Cirque Du Soleil) circus cabaret show ‘Taboo’ and relocated to Macau for 2.5 years. Whilst in Macau she worked with an array of musicians at several Casinos including City Of Dreams, Galaxy, Venetian, MGM and participated in the opening of the Studio City Arena.
Guesting on board Forbes No.1 Luxury Liner Europa 2 for HapagLloyd Cruise Lines, Cassie was able to travel the Middle-East and Southern Europe before returning to London to sing in the historical Café de Paris in Piccadilly.
Cassie was then scouted to star in the Varieté Grand Review show at Friedrichsbau in Germany.
Bringing us to 2019 where she originated the role of the 'Diva' in Tokyo Disney's new show 'Song of Mirage'. Whilst performing her own live jazz shows in clubs across Japan.
Cassie has just completed a course with Berklee College of Music in Songwriting and Music Production.

Due to Hurricane Sandy, Scott Alan was stranded in London where he just finished recording tracks for the upcoming 'Special Edition' version of his album LIVE. Alan decided to put together an impromptu concert on November 2nd at the Hippodrome Casino in Soho. The concert featured Sierra Boggess, David Hunter, Cassie McIvor, Jamie Muscato, Cordelia Famworth, Oliver Tompsett, Stuart Matthew Price, Chloe Hart, Ashleigh Grey, Jodie Jacobs, Sidonie Smith, Philly Lopez and a contest winner plucked from the audience was Sally Faye Care, who sang 'Watch Me Soar.' On Monday April 25, DIVA welcomes Broadway superstar Rachelle Rak. Nicknamed Sas, Rachelle began her dance training at the age of 2 under the direction of her mother, Rosalene, at the Rosalene Kenneth Professional Dance Studio in Pittsburgh. Rachelle is very involved with the studio and teaches class on occasion, as well as serving as the schools Executive Director. She has been labeled as a Triple Threat on Broadway for her immeasurable talent in dance, singing, and acting. Rachelle was presented with the award for outstanding achievement in the world of dance from Dance Educators of America. She has made a huge impact on the Broadway and Musical Theatre community. A few of her impressive credits include leading roles in: Cats, Starlight Express, West Side Story, Smokey Joes Cafe, Fosse, Thou Shalt Not, Oklahoma!, The Look of Love, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Sessions, An Evening at the Carlyle.
