Thomas Schultheis

Thomas Schultheis has performed on Broadway in the revival of Grease! and in the National/International Tours of Grease!, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Chicago, and South Pacific. He performed in the original off-broadway cast of Bed, Boys, and Beyond and can be heard on the original cast recording.

He has served as a Teaching Artist for numerous Academies, Competitions, Festivals, Intensives, Invitationals, and Showcases. Thomas has created the Inspiration Workshop, Let Me Try That Again, and the Musical Theatre Exploration Clinic.

Thomas received his Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from National University and his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from James Madison University.

He has worked as a choreographer for over 20 years working Off-Broadway, creating original works with the cast of the Broadway's [title of show] at PS. 122. Thomas has served as a choreographer for over a dozen High School and College Show Choirs, several which won Best Choreography and Outstanding Choreography Awards.

Thomas works for The Walt Disney Company as the Sales Manager for Disney Performing Arts at the Disneyland® Resort. Under his award winning leadership he created Inspiring Brilliance, a 2 day Summit which brings leading educators together from around the world. He also developed the first individual workshop opportunity for students at The Walt Disney Company called Disney Performing Arts Open Enrollment as well as the first Disney Performing Arts Conservatory.

Thomas is a member of the Concordia University, Irvine’s School of Education Advisory Council, and is a part of the Actors Equity Association, California Educational Theatre Association, Educational Theatre Association, and the Teaching Artist Support Collaborative of California.

As foster parents, he and his spouse were recognized as Outstanding ISFC Resource Parents for the County of Los Angeles as well as honored by Raise a Child Organization’s Let Love Define Family Award.
