MCCC Fashion Design Students to Present Runway Show in Trenton, 5/4
Mercer County Community College's Fashion Design program invites the community to an inaugural runway show as the college celebrates its first graduating class of fashion students. "Trenton Makes: An MCCC Student Fashion Show Benefit and Awards Ceremony" takes place Saturday, May 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. in Kerney Hall in the James Kerney Building on Mercer's Trenton Campus, 102 North Broad Street.
MCCC and PSRC Co-Sponsor Fashion Event, 5/10
Mercer County Community College (MCCC) and Princeton Senior Resource Center (PSRC) invite the community to "Lights! Camera! Fashion!", a celebration of fashion, film and photography on Friday, May 10 at the MCCC Conference Center, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor, N.J. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m., with a showing of the documentary "Bill Cunningham New York" at 7 p.m.
MCCC Gallery Announces Mercer County Artists Winners
The Gallery at Mercer County Community College announced the award winners for 'Mercer County Artists 2012' at an Opening Reception Mar. 7. The exhibit, which runs through April 5, features 78 works, including 18 sculptures, by 76 artists who live, work or study in Mercer County. The pieces were selected from 288 entries by this year's juror, curator/consultant Jeffrey Wechsler, who recently retired as senior art curator at the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Museum at Rutgers University/New Brunswick.
