1942 - it was the time of the big band, war bonds for the troops, and radio. Winter Park Playhouse's ALL HANDS ON DECK transports the audience back to that time with classic tunes, hilarious jokes, and so much more. Based on Bob Hope's 1942 USO tour during World War II, this roadshow turned radio show for the troops has stopped in Winter Park, Florida for the evening!

What better way to beat the heat and have fun with the kids than seeing Orlando Shakespeare's SLEEPING BEAUTY. Based on the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, Brandon Robert's version of SLEEPING BEAUTY adds a modern twist that keeps the story fresh. It's short enough to keep the young audience's attention at 45-minutes, yet the dialog is sharp enough to entertain the adults too.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF welcomes Joshua S. Roth to the cast of the ongoing production of Sleeping Beauty. Complete with a brave prince, a beautiful princess, and a magical kiss, this quirky retelling of Sleeping Beauty will introduce the classic fairy tale to a new generation of kids and families. This World Premiere adaptation is written by Brandon Roberts and runs through July 28, 2013 in the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center in Orlando's Loch Haven Cultural Park.
