Andi never wanted to be anything other than an artist, but growing up in rural East Tennessee, opportunities in the Arts were very limited. And pursuing a career in the Arts was even more unheard of. After high school, Andi attended Maryville College where she received a B.A. in Theatre and where her love of acting, directing, and writing only deepened. Upon graduating from Maryville, Andi moved to Boston where she trained and performed with some of Beantown's most established theatre companies and artists. It was at this time she was asked to join the Hampstead Stage Company's touring ensemble -- traveling across the country to perform theatre for children. This was a particularly fulfilling opportunity, as she was able to share her passion with communities much like the one where she grew up. After a successful tour, Andi relocated to Miami where she not only had the opportunity to perform with some amazing South Florida theatre companies, but also discovered a love for film. The South Florida Film and TV scene allowed her to get in front of the camera in several projects -- including short films, commercials, and television.
Andi now lives in Knoxville, where she continues to work on the stage and screen. In the past year, she has received several acting awards and nominations including Best Actress at the 54 Hour Film Festival, Best Supporting Actress in the Secret City Film Festival, and a Best Local Actress Nomination in both CityView and Metro Pulse Magazines. Andi also spends a lot of time writing, directing, and performing with her comedy troupe, Family Band Comedy, and performing sketch comedy as a member of The Black Liver Society.
