Vicki Knight Heads to Palm Desert for Cabaret Show

On Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2 PM, local performer Vicki Knight will entertain with her show entitled "September Once More". The show will feature songs from Vicki's past, singing songs for her days performing at nightclubs in Canada, along with some of those funny stories she is known. Joel Baker, another local favorite, will accompany Vicki on the baby grand.

Originally from Canada, (she's big in Winnipeg) Vicki Knight moved to the Desert area in the early eighties and wasted no time making a name for herself in Southern California, quickly being dubbed 'The Desert's Songbird'. Highlights of her career are numerous and include engagements with The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies; The Lawrence Welk Theater; Cabaret Theatre West; and featured roles at The Palm Canyon Theatre.

Her one-woman cabaret shows have been crowd pleasers at special events, private parties and fundraising concerts for The Stroke Recovery Center and The Jewish Federation of the Desert, and many of the Valley's best restaurants and venues. Vicki has received many awards and nominations from the Desert Theater League. This show will make Vicki's 6th show for the Cabaret On Sundays Series at the Arthur Newman Theater presented by Les Michaels of Life Is A Cabaret.
