On Saturday, January 20, the Annenberg Theater at the Palm Springs Art Museum was the elegant setting for Jim Caruso's Cast Party! Host Caruso and musical director Billy Stritch created a concert version of their usually-impromptu open mic with a dazzling cast of (mostly) local performers. The sold-out house was entertained by Lucie Arnaz, Alix Korey, Karina Nuvo, David Zippel, Iris Williams, Jane Monheit, Julie Garnye, and Travis Cloer. The Cast Party Symphony Orchestra was helmed by Stritch at piano, as well as bassist Jeff Stover and Rick Montalbano on drums.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party has been bringing Broadway glitz, swinging jazz and impromptu musical magic to the legendary stage of Birdland in New York City since 2003. It's become the ultimate open mic mix-and-mingle spot for show folk and the people who love them! Now, the jaw-dropping music and razzle-dazzle has taken to the road, bringing the fun to theaters and nightspots in London, San Fransicso, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Orlando, Austin, Dallas, Miami, Delray Beach, The Hamptons, Provincetown, and on the high seas!
