Omaha Community Playhouse Presents THE FANTASTICKS, 2/10-3/18

Omaha Community Playhouse presents The Fantasticks as part of its Fonda-McGuire Series in the Howard Drew Theatre from February 10- March 18, 2012.

The Fantasticks has a book by Tom Jones, music by Harvey Schmidt, lyrics by Tom Jones, and is based on Les Romanesques by Edmond Rostand.

A legend in its own time, The Fantasticks is the longest running musical in history! A simple romantic comedy about a boy, a girl, their meddling fathers and the wall that divides them, The Fantasticks is crafted with charming simplicity, captivating music and whimsy. This timeless tale will ignite your imagination, delight your senses and leave you completely fulfilled. Whether you are revisiting this beloved musical or seeing it for the first time, it guarantees entertainment!

Performance are Thursday–Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday: 2 p.m. Tickets are $40 per adult and $24 per student. Tickets go on sale January 31 and can be purchased at http://www.omahaplayhouse.com/performances.aspx?perfno=25.
