From award-winning playwright Oliver Mayer, Yerma In Vitro is a modern adaptation of Lorca’s masterpiece. Yerma is a custodian at an elite college freshman dorm. She wants a baby who may one day attend university. But how can she bring a new life into a dangerous and darkening world? A drama for our times, Yerma In Vitro draws us into the harrowing experiences of immigrants and mothers with compassionate storytelling.

Ana Sophia Colón

Yerma
Ana Sophia Colón is a New York City based freelance producer and actress from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is a graduate from Fordham University with a B.A. in Theatre and a concentration on Performance. Ana carries not just a love for her island, but also her determination to create a bridge with the unknown. She has worked with several theater companies including LAByrinth Theater Company, The Public, INTAR, Repertorio Español, among others. She is currently producing her one-woman show “Puerto Rico es Una Cama Twin” Off-Off Broadway. Ana is passionate about shedding light on raw and vibrant female led Latina stories.


Marlene Forte

Trini
Marlene Forte is a Cuban-American actress born in Santiago De Las Vegas, Cuba. She was proudly raised in Hudson County, New Jersey -- a Bridge and Tunnel girl! A founding member of Labyrinth Theater Company in New York City, she credits her 30 year career to her Labyrinth Familia and now resides in Los Angeles where she steadily works on television, in movies, and on stage. Over her career she has played a wide variety of roles as well as producing films and directing for both the stage and screen. But her best production to date remains her daughter, Giselle Rodriguez, who she credits for saving her life!


Neil Tyrone Pritchard

Neil Tyrone Pritchard (Performer) is a Liberian-American, New York City -based Actor/Singer/Teaching Artist. Credits include: Dia Y Noche (Labyrinth Theater Company) Halfway Bitches Go Straight to Heaven (Atlantic Theater/LAByrinth Theater Company), The Berlin Electric (Park Avenue Armory), The Prizefighter of P.S. 217 (New Victory LabWorks), The Stowaway (Classic Stage Company), Clover (La MaMa), Queen Latina and Her Power Posse (Cherry Lane Theater), The Mendelssohn Electric (Park Avenue Armory), AT BUFFALO (New York Musical Theatre Festival) and workshops at Tectonic Theater Project, Sundance Theater LAB, Goodman Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, Dorset Theater Festival, Lincoln Center Theater, & Primary Stages. He is currently on staff at The Park Avenue Armory where he brings Arts Education to public schools throughout the five boroughs. He is A Proud New York City Public School Kid, A Member of LAByrinth Theater Company, where he serves as Associate Artistic Director.


Kimberli Flores

Kimberli Flores is a New York-based actor and dancer. Her television credits include recurring roles on NCIS: New Orleans (CBS) and Daredevil (Netflix), as well as guest appearances on Will Trent (ABC), The Blacklist (NBC), Bull (CBS), Blue Bloods (CBS), and Chicago P.D. (NBC). Film work includes The Lost Bus (Apple Original Films), Shine (Amazon), and In the Heights (Warner Bros.). Theater credits include Native Gardens (The Old Globe), Pulse (Guthrie Theater), and 365 Plays/365 Days (The Public Theater). She holds an MFA in Acting from USC, trained at the British American Drama Academy at Oxford, and is a graduate of the William Esper Studio.


Suni Reyes

Suni Reyes is an award winning multi-disciplinary artist originally from Santurce, Puerto Rico. Theatre credits include: “The Fears” (Signature Theatre), “Celia Cruz: The Musical” (New World Stages), "La Barberia” (New World Stages), PRTT/Pregones, and Repertorio Español. Recent TV and Film appearances : Gordita Chronicles (HBO MAX), Billions (Showtime), FBI Most Wanted (CBS), Nora from Queens (Comedy Central), American Carnage (Hulu), and “Don’t Wait Up For Me” (UrbanWorld Film Festival). Suni’s also a gifted comedian, and has presented her original work at the UCB Theatre, The PIT, The ONE Festival, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Boston Comedy Arts Festival and Latina Comedy Festival in Chicago. As a writer, she has been featured on Remezcla, The Wrap, NBC’s Visiones, and Latino Rebels. She’s also a proud bad ass mother, a dancer and yoga teacher.


Armani Gabriel

Armani Gabriel (he/him) is a 21-year-old Afro-Cuban actor from West New York, New Jersey. A proud graduate of Pace University, he earned his degree in Acting for Film, Television, Voiceovers, and Commercials (FTVC). Armani is thrilled to be making his debut in a lead role after college, dedicating this performance to the incredible mentors who have guided him along the way. No stranger to the stage and screen, Armani recently appeared in a production at Tank NYC (Houses) and made his mark on Blue Bloods (CBS, Hulu, Paramount). With a heart full of passion and a commitment to his craft, Armani is excited for what lies ahead in this amazing journey.


Gabriel Diego Hernández

Tamalero/Juan Luis Guerra
Gabriel is an actor, rapper, playwright, and educator who originally hails from Hoboken, NJ. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies and a master's in Education, both from Yale University, he taught social studies in the New Haven public school system before returning home to direct plays in middle schools and summer camps. Recent acting credits include El Coquí Espectacular and the Bottle of Doom (Two River Theater), CasablancaBox (HERE Arts), La Canción (Repertorio Español), and Layer the Walls (Abrons Arts Center). His hip hop musical Quarter Rican had its world premiere in 2023 at Mile Square Theatre before transferring to the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, getting published, and touring nationally. He currently serves as the director of education at Mile Square Theatre and lives in Jersey City Heights with his wife and writing partner Rachel and their two children.


Alexis Elisa Macedo

Alexis Elisa Macedo - worth every letter - is an unapologetic, produced, and published Chicana playwright, producer and performer. She’s a National Theater Institute Alum (Spring ‘20, Theatermakers ‘22) and has her BA in Theater Arts - Acting Emphasis (Fresno State ‘21) Macedo was awarded the Sewanee Writers’ Conference - SolProject Fellowship, Individual Artist Fellowship from the California Arts Council; and is a Miranda Family Fellow Alumn. Her play credits include: CHICANA LEGEND (The Fools Collaborative, SheATL) Red Hood(ie) (Lime Arts Productions 20x20 Fringe, published by Next Stage Press,) and, Under the Sheet (Moxie NYC Arts), and numerous other bilingual student play commissions that students in the Providence, RI Public School District have performed. Jen Anaya

Olga
Jen Anaya is a queer Indigenous Mexican actor/singer/instrumentalist, writer/composer/director, art/ritual space-maker, doula, teacher, energy healer and baby whisperer raised on Yavapaiv Apache, Cocopah and O'odham land. From La Mama to Harvard Art Lab, The Kitchen to Radio City Music Hall, La Jolla Playhouse to Harpa in Iceland, across LenapeHoking, Turtle Island and the world, Jen has been weaving music, theater, movement and healing together everywhere they go. They’ve performed in everything from rock bands, musicals, web series, art installations and plays, to operas, films, solo shows, healing rituals and fandangos. They're a founding member of Constellation Chor, are a You Are Here Creations collaborator, a 2021 FORGE Fellow and a Reiki and 13th Octave La Ho Chi practitioner. When not on contract, they tend to their healing arts practice (De Luz Healing), play with their Son Jarocho band (Son Papalotl) and have a blast with the young folks at 52nd St. Project. Oliver Mayer

Playwright
Oliver Mayer is a playwright, poet, essayist, and author of nearly 40 plays. Ghost Waltz (now called Vals Entre las Sombras) was recently awarded Best Play of the Year by Stage Raw. His ground-breaking play Blade to the Heat won multiple awards and played across the United States and at the Teatro Lirico in Mexico City. New plays include The Man in the Maze and Yerma in Vitro. He has received The American Prize of New Opera. Mayer is a tenured professor of dramatic writing at the USC School of Dramatic Arts.

Paul Calderon is a veteran of Stage, Film and TV; an OBIE and AUDELCO recipient and a SAG-AWARD nominated actor.
