The "Point of Pride" Cabaret Fundraiser series, by Shatter The Glass Productions, features trans and nonbinary performers as well as cis allies. Come and witness these talented artists showcasing their skills to support “Point of Pride,” a wonderful organization committed to providing medical and gender-affirming care to trans and nonbinary folks.
This event will be taking place on Monday June 16th, at 7 pm, at Rubulad (Bushwick-Rubulad is a no address space, so the exact space address will be provided the week before the event).
Doors will open at 6:00pm and we will have preshow activities between 6 and 7pm. Come early to have a drink and explore Rubulad's gorgeous outdoor courtyard! We will have a tarot reader and a poet/artist stationed in the courtyard, both before the show and during Intermission.
Adriana Nocco and Joshua "JBat" Batista will emcee the evening. The show will feature performances from Adam Lloyd Valdez, Anne J. Tifah, Angel Rodela, Carla Costabile, Cesario Tirado-Ortiz, Chris Browne Valenzuela, Emily Pisarra, Emily J Whalen, Freb Ray, Gabriela Santi, Isabel Gray, James Suarez, Julianna Belles, Kaden Potak, Kaleb Dufrene, Lisa Burgos, Lucy Walker Adams, Michael DeRosa and Theresa Burns. They will be accompanied by Bruce Baumer on piano, Emily Alcaide on guitar, Dave D'aranjo on bass and Molly-Ellen Riviere on drums.
