Doors open at 3 PM. Colorful flags everywhere, and the smell of Brazilian food already in the air — Andrea's Brazilian Homemade Goods, Mari Tamiozzy Vegan Chef, and Queijo Mel have you covered all day. DJ Greg Caz sets the tone.

The characters arrive: the pregnant bride (Debora Balardini) seeking an understanding husband; Santo Antônio (Daniel Mazzarolo) playing matchmaker with your flirty notes; Sabiá (Andressa Furletti) spreading the "news"; the cigana (Fabiana Mattedi) with a simpatia up her sleeve; Maria (Tatiana Birenbaum) and Severina (Aline Andrade) testing your luck in the games. São João (Marcio Fein) thinks it's all for him. No, it's not.

Art on the walls by Duda Mendes, brought by Angelica Walker Projects and SOS Amazônia — plus their kids & teens workshop "Protecting Acre's Wildlife." Luisa Galatti is painting the most colorful cheeks. Connection Boutique has the fits.

Then, with everyone's help, the Boi-Bumbá comes to life. Mambembé and Marcos Costa bring the heat of Bahia. Lara Gerin takes the decks with a variety of Brazilian tunes. Watch out, it might rain inside! Sabrina Evangelista gets everyone to dance forró — two left feet welcome, laughter guaranteed!

Pietra Parker arrives. She performs. She owns the room and, with Sabrina, leads the casamento na roça, commands the quadrilha, and crowns a King and Queen of Quadrilha.

Then, time for live forró with Guilherme Monteiro and Davi Vieira from Forró in the Dark alongside Felipe Hostins, Gustavo Di Dalva and Gili Lopes — they set the night on fire. Tietta closes it out, shaking every hip in the room.
