Violet Productions Presents PAGEANT PRINCESS at Planet Connections, Now thru 6/23
Violet Productions presents Pageant Princess, directed by Shaun Peknic, as part of the 4th Annual Planet Connections Theater Festivity. The Festivity will take place May 30th through June 24th at The Theatres at 45 Bleeker Street in New York City.
The premiere performance of Pageant Princess follows three contestants, Miss Staci Mallory, Miss Maxine Thompson, and Miss Donna Lou Jackson (and their parents), as they embark on the road to Miss Glamour and Glitz-Texas in the hopes of taking home the win. Join a charming ensemble of quirky characters as they discover their dreams in a place where it’s what’s on the outside that counts, with hilarious results.
Audience members will have the opportunity to participate in each performance. Audience participation is chosen by a lottery system of volunteers before each performance. Children (minimum of 10 years old) are encouraged to participate.
As part of Planet Connections, donations will be made during performances to Adam R. Spector Foundation.
The production team includes Joni Ernst (Musical Director), Brian Gordon (Assistant Musical Director), Bethany Clark (Stage Manager), Katie Schmidt (Costume Designer), and Michelle Tobias (Lighting Designer). Pageant Princess was conceived by Lorelei Mackenzie and Kristen Penner with music by Joni Ernst, Lorelei Mackenzie and Kristen Penner and book by Abigail Taylor, Lorelei Mackenzie and Kristen Penner.

Pageant Princess plays the following schedule as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity: 6/5 at 7pm, 6/9 at 3:30pm, 6/10 at 1:30pm, 6/16 at 11am, 6/20 at 4:30pm, and 6/23 at 11:30am.
