Theater Mitu Presents Unique Staging of 'Death of a Salesman' at 14th Street Y Starting 10/22

Theater Mitu breathes new relevance into Arthur Miller's classic Death of a Salesman with a relentlessly physical style that seamlessly fuses vaudeville, Japanese Noh and Butoh, innovative object puppetry, Balinese masks, conceptual design, propelled by live original music, a resounding timeworn chorus and an ensemble of just four actors. Ben Brantley of The New York Times calls Mitu's work "outside the boundaries of standard Western drama...an exciting, fresh theatre-going experience."
Theater Mitu's Death of a Salesman will be performed at the 14th Street Y Theater Space (14th St. between 1st and 2nd avenues) from October 22 - November 1.
