The Brick Theater, Inc. in association with Summer Shapiro & Peter Musante will present LEGS AND ALL as part of the New York Clown Theatre Festival, running September 3-26 at The Brick.

A man in an attic meets a woman in a box. As they lure one another into their worlds, their curiosity unfolds to expose a hilarious, mind-bending, innovative allegory for the classic man-meets-woman story. Rooted in physical comedy and drenched in imaginative stage illusion, LEGS & ALL is an inventive exploration of human loneliness set to an evocative tango-meets-bluegrass score.

San Francisco's beloved physical comedienne, Summer Shapiro, teams up with equally talented clown Peter Musante (Blue Man Group - NY), for 50 minutes of kinetic comedy and subtle pathos. After winning top honors at the 2010 FRIGID Festival in NY, and an award-winning, sold-out run at the 2009 San Francisco Fringe Festival, Legs and All returns to New York. It balances childlike whimsy and sophisticated wit for a "masterful" performance all audiences will enjoy.

LEGS AND ALL will run Tuesday September 14th at 9PM, Thursday September 16th at 7PM, Saturday September 18th at 10PM and Friday September 24th at 11PM as part of the New York Clown Theatre Festival at The Brick (575 Metropolitan Avenue between Union Avenue and Lorimer Street, Brooklyn). Tickets ($15 / $10 for Weekend Matinee Family Shows) may be purchased online at www.bricktheater.com or by calling 1-866-811-4111.
