TNC Presents AROUND THE WORLD, 1-Acts Set Around Globe

Around the World, a series of one act plays set in locations around the globe, has been picked up for a one-evening presentation at Theater for the New City in Manhattan.

Around the World, a program of one-act plays by Claude Solnik and Craig Pospisil, is being presented free one night only Monday, April 9 at 8 p.m. at Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave.

Directors include Jeff Bennett, Jim Black, Rich Jimenez as well as Robert and Joanne Domingo working with a cast of more than a dozen in this evening of mostly comedies and some drama.

One acts range from Pospisil's "There's No Here Here" set in Paris to Solnik's "For My Eyes Only" set in Manhattan.

"A series of short, interesting stories and characters come to life," Solnik said. "You get to meet all sorts of people on a trip that has all sorts of stops."

Stories range from a man who finds a woman's diary in Central Park to a meeting that's more than meets the eye in a Paris café to  a marriage proposal on a tropical beach

Settings range from New Orleans to Vermont, Paris to Manhattan and Los Angeles to Aphrodite's Rock, Cyprus.
