New Story Showcases Memories Of A Modern Day Don Juan

A modern story of obsession, love, and the type of masculinity that makes love impossible, Story and Her is a production about a middle-aged Casanova, the trap of his existence, and the true love he couldn't keep. Story and Her will be presented on May 10, 2019 at 8pm, at the Wild Project (195 E. 3rd Street, NYC) as a feature of the Downtown Urban Arts Festival.
A one-man show, Story and Her stars actor Galway McCullough. McCullough, is a veteran of film (Boardwalk Empire, Blindspot among others) as well as stage, for which he was awarded Best Male in a short play at the Midtown International Theatre. In addition, he has worked in national tours and choreographed for over 80 stage productions.
Playwright Josh Drimmer's work includes the lighthouse invites the storm (Sanguine Theater Company), Halcyon Days (T. Schreiber Studio's New Works Initiative), The Beeping (ARTC Winterfest), Love Is Good (Producer's Club, workshops with Lincoln Center Theater's Directors' Lab and Feed the Herd), and Falling (readings at the Dramatists Guild and Theater for the New City). He's a member of American Renaissance Theater Company and The Pool.
Director Christopher Carter Sanderson, Founding Artistic Director of Gorilla Rep (www.gorillareptheatre.org), has directed and designed high-quality theatrical productions of classical dramatic works combined with a contemporary immediacy since 1989. Sanderson launched the immersive theatre movement, and has lectured and written extensively on the aesthetics of interactive theater. Christopher Carter Sanderson has over the years worked with some of the theatrical world's most prominent playwrights, as well as teaching at several distinguished dramatic academic institutions in the US.
