National Music Theater Competition Seeks Talent

It's never too early to spot the rising stars of tomorrow. The National Music Theater Competition is seeking the best emerging music theater soloists - those who just need that one break to move their careers forward!

Apply online at www.MusicTheaterCompetition.com. The NMTC application deadline is September 15, 2019. Prizes and awards total more than $15,000, presented by the National Association of Teachers of Singing and sponsored by the NATS Foundation.

The 2020 Semifinal and Final rounds will be held in New York, NY, January 10-12, 2020, at The Roosevelt Hotel, in proximity to an audience of artist managers and industry professionals. Approximately 24 singers advance to the semifinal and final rounds. The competition is in conjunction with the National Association of Teachers of Singing Winter Workshop.

Preliminary rounds will take place in New York City (October 5-6, 2019 at NYU). An online video submission round (deadline for video submission: October 15, 2019) is available for participants who cannot travel to the live audition site. Applicants must be between ages 20-28 (as of September 15, 2019).
