Tyler Phillips Music and Ashley Monroe, in association with Kamelrock Productions and Elysia Segal will present Short ‘N Sweet, a 20-minute play and musical event, at the Laurie Beechman Theater on May 24, 2010 at 9:30pm. The event will feature cabaret style presentations of four new short theatrical pieces.

The evening's program will include Things that Talk by Rob Broadhurst and Brent Black, The Glue Story by Ron Brawer, Eleven Days by Sebastian Fabal and Chris Widney, and Cake! by Hannah Kohl and Molly McQue. All shows are under the musical direction of Cody Wymore.

Established in 2009 by writer/producer Tyler Phillips, Name 'N Lights is a New York City based cabaret series dedicated to promoting the new works of theatre writers. Since the first Name 'N Lights event at the Laurie Beechman Theater in October of 2009, the series has not only built on its mission statement by promoting the work of theatre writers, but also by reaching out to emerging performers interested in shaping new theatrical pieces.
