Midwinter Madness Short Plays Festival Extends THAT L WORD, ANOTHER ONE DARLING, and DENIALS

By:

John Chatterton presents the 2014 MIDWINTER MADNESS SHORT PLAYS FESTIVAL with 21 days of new plays. This has been a banner year for John Chatterton's Midwinter Madness Festival. Not even halfway through and already three productions are given extra performances: THAT L WORD on Saturday, February 22nd at 5:00 p.m.; ANOTHER ONE DARLING on Sunday, February 23rd at 3:00 p.m.; and DENIALS on Sunday, March 2 at 2:45 p.m.

No show was postponed due to the recent inclement weather and others are just single tickets away from adding to the extended list. Prolific producer John Chatterton has been a fixture of the Manhattan theatre scene for two decades. The Midtown International Theatre Festival is a leader in presenting powerful works from around the world - and one of the best reasons to come to New York in the summer.

Year 2014 marks Year 15 for the MITF, and John Chatterton is celebrating in a big way. Visit www.midtownFestival.org to learn about the Short Play Lab, the Midwinter Madness Short Play Festival, the founding Midtown International Theatre Festival, the new MITF Children's Theatre Festival, and a commercial division grooming works for off - and on - Broadway.

THE FOURTH ANNUAL MIDWINTER MADNESS SHORT PLAY FESTIVAL runs now through Sunday, March 2 at the Roy Arias Studios Stage II at 300 W. 43rd Street, 4th Floor, New York City.

The Midwinter Madness Short Play Festival presents one-act works 60 minutes or less in length over a three-week period. This year's selection is a diverse group of more than three dozen plays and musicals, some with controversial subject matter and themes and others designed for children.
