MEL & EL are about to make a pilgrimage to Washington, D.C. to march for LGBT equality... but first they gotta do a show! Fresh from their critically acclaimed Off-Broadway run at NYC's Ars Nova, MEL & EL will be performing their new musical extravaganza, MEL & EL: GAY MARRIED, for one night only at Comix.

Created and performed by award-winning funny femmes Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin with composer Patrick Spencer Bodd, MEL & EL: GAY MARRIED is a musical Laverne & Shirley meets Sex & the City with a lower shoe budget and a higher ratio of in-your-crotch comedy. Hailed as "outrageous" by The New York Times and "hilariously squirm-inducing" by the Village Voice, real life best friends MEL & EL ponder the fashion choices of their teens, the feasibility of having George Michael as a neighbor, and the likelihood of getting gay married.

After listening to the instant dance hit FAGNET
("F - A - G plus Magnet equals FAGNET!"), Culturebot.org wrote:
"We listened to it and well, we're kvelling. Seriously...this is hot."

Every single audience member at Comix will receive a Limited Edition Fagnet Magnet ABSOLUTELY FREE!  Mel and El maintain that the magnets make a lovely addition to any metal surface, but they both agree that refrigerator doors, though obvious, are ideal.
